"About IPT"

Presidents Note:

International Production Technologies was started in 2001.

Years of experience in the industrial metalworking lubricants business taught me that who's product you use may not be as important as how you use the product. There are practices that will improve your manufacturing process that do not require changing lubricants suppliers.

We should train our employees on the proper care and control of metalworking fluids. Training will reduce the cost of lubricant usage. However, lubricant costs may not be the largest area of savings. In-process rust, finish quality, scrap rates, tool life, health problems and waste disposal may all cost more than the lubricants used.

We should listen to our employees and treat them with respect. They often have insights to performing their jobs that will reduce costs. I have found that during in-plant training seminars the most important part of the seminar is the plant survey prior to the actual training. This is the time spent with operators listening.
